Lemongrass Syrup

  • Lemongrass Core (stalk), halved 4.0 pc
  • Sugar 4.0 cup
  • Water 2.0 cup

Pandan Syrup

  • Sugar 4.0 cup
  • Water 2.0 cup
  • Pandan Leaf (Screwpine Leaf), knotted 6.0 pc

Assembly

  • Water 5.0 cup
  • Lemongrass Syrup 0.25 cup
  • Ice cubes
  • Lipton Yellow Label Tea envelope 100X2g 3.0 bag

Preparation

  1. Lemongrass Syrup

    • In a saucepan, add in 1 cup of water, 2 cups of sugar and lemongrass. Stir the mixture gently until most of the sugar has dissolved on low heat.
    • Add in the remainder sugar and stir until it is completely dissolved.
    • Set aside to cool.

  2. Pandan Syrup

    • In a saucepan, add in 1 cup of water, 2 cups water and pandan leaves. Stir the mixture gently until most of the sugar has dissolved on low heat.
    • Add the remainder sugar and stir until it is completely dissolved.
    • Set aside to cool and remove pandan leaves before storing.

  3. Assembly

    • Boil the water and remove from heat once boiling.
    • Steep the Lipton Yellow Label Tea tea bags. Set aside for 10 minutes. Mix the two syrups and tea together.
    • Serve the tea with a glass filled with ice cubes.
